Terms of Service
KDR Leave is an internal system for telling KDR Technology Solutions when you will be away from work, and for seeing when your colleagues will be. These terms say who runs it, what is expected of you, and what is - and is not - promised.
Who runs this
KDR Technology Solutions, an Australian business, for its own staff and contractors. It is not offered to the public and there is nothing to pay. Questions go to admin@kdrtech.com.
Your account
Accounts are created by an administrator and are for one person. There is no password: you sign in with a link emailed to your address, so keeping that mailbox secure is what keeps your account secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
Because the address is what signs you in, only an administrator can change it. You can ask from Settings, and both the request and the change are recorded. If you think somebody else has access to your mailbox, say so immediately - that is the one thing this system cannot detect on your behalf.
Acceptable use
Record your own leave honestly and keep it up to date; that is the whole job. Do not use somebody else’s account or try to reach records that are not yours, do not put anything in the notes field that does not belong in a work system - the details of why you are away are not required, and are visible to administrators - and do not attempt to break, overload or probe the service. Nothing here is a place for personal, confidential or unlawful content.
What you record, and what happens to it
Leave you record is a business record of an engagement with KDR, not something you own or license to us. Your colleagues can see that you are away and when; administrators can see everything, and can correct a record on your behalf - every time they do, it is logged against their name.
When you stop working with KDR, the usual step is that your account is switched off rather than deleted, and the leave recorded against it stays as part of the business record. What is kept, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Availability
The service is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime, and may change or end at any time. It is a convenience for recording leave, not a system of record for anything you would be stuck without - export your data if you would miss it.
Ending your account
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. That removes it and the leave recorded against it immediately and permanently, and it cannot be undone. Entries in the audit trail are the exception: they keep your email address so that a record of who did what still means something, and are blanked seven years after they were recorded. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.
Deleting your account here does not end anything else between you and KDR, and does not remove you from any other record KDR keeps.
